African history month

ann_mudeka_203_203x152Black History Month is a remembrance of important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. Since 1976, it is celebrated annually in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in October.

In Suffolk, the name was changed to "African" a couple of years ago, but in other parts of the country it's kept its original name.

AHM includes art exhibitions, theatre, concerts, poetry, comedy, films, lectures, talks, walks and family history projects.
